The Symantec Embedded Database web server (why the fuck does an Antivirus program/console need to run on a web server?) use up 100% of all memory on a server (not just allocate like a majority of Java apps do, but seriously use up all the memory) Still manage to allow common infections into users' computers, and then block common tools I use to repair (autoruns.exe, etc.) Use up all the available space on servers with 30gb+ log files I realize no antivirus program is bulletproof, but in the past year and half I've been at this company, I have seen Symantec Endpoint Protection: I come from a firm that used ESET, which I've been trying to get them to switch to. The company I am with now has used Symantec religiously for the past however many years.
